That's So Weird was a Canadian sketch comedy television show owned by the Halifax Film Company and was broadcast on YTV. The show has been described as SCTV or Mad TV for teenagers and includes an array of comedic skits.

A fair skinned boy, named "Asim," recently relocated to Los Angeles from Pakistan in the pursuit of happiness. His name is pronounced "Ah-Sim" but everyone mispronounces it as either "Aseem" or "Awesome." Asim doesn't have any friends or a girlfriend so for fun he enjoys watching romantic Bollywood films and longs to find the love of his life. He currently works at Fair House Bank where he becomes friends with the teller and banker, Mark and Sue. After a mishap at the Bank, Asim finds himself making new friends and doing things he's never done before. Will Asim find love and happiness in America, or will he simply end up working the night shift at 7-11?

Erics is a gullible and overconfident twenty-something who constantly finds himself in ridiculous situations, and while his two smart-ass older brothers take pleasure in his misfortunes, they're always there to bail him out.
